Fauxtato Chips

(recipe adapted from Delish)

Ditch the high-fat potato chips by switching them out with these “fauxtato chips.” Radishes serve as the perfect substitute, with a subtle flavor that allows the garlic, salt and pepper to really stand out. They give you all the crunch of a chip with fewer calories and an extra kick. For added flavor, try sprinkling the radishes with parmesan cheese before putting them in the oven. Your guests can eat them plain, or you can serve them with dressing or dip.

  • 7 medium radishes
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

  1. Preheat your oven to 225°F
  2. Thinly slice radishes with a mandolin
  3. Place radishes in a bowl and coat with vegetable oil and garlic powder
  4. Toss the radishes in the bowl to ensure that they are all coated evenly
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper
