Margherita California Avocado Toast

A simple, but delicious California staple, avocado toast can be found in restaurants across the state- but even if you can't make it out to brunch, you can still enjoy this delicious recipe right at home. Avocado toast with a twist- this pizza-inspired version is practically a sure thing.

Ingredients:
- 1 slice whole wheat bread
- 2 slices fresh buffalo mozzarella
- 1/2 ripe Fresh California Avocado, seeded, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1 basil leave, chopped
- Balsamic reduction, to taste

Directions
- Toast the bread with the mozzarella slices on top, until the mozzarella is slightly melted and the bread toasted.
- Place the California Avocado slices on top of the melted cheese.
- Top with sliced tomatoes and fresh basil.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired.
